My name is Shaun McCutcheon, and I founded the Conservative Action Fund to fight for the principles of limited government, personal freedom and fiscal responsibility.
You probably know me as the plaintiff in the landmark free speech case - McCutcheon vs. Federal Election Commission - decided in the Supreme Court this year. I took on and defeated one of the biggest federal bureaucracies-the FEC- over their cumbersome and anti-freedom campaign finance laws that only serve to help protect incumbents and the DC establishment.

Now, I'm not a rich man like George Soros or Steven Spielberg, but what success I've had through hard work as an engineer I've decided to put towards the defense of our freedom. To continue the fight, I've personally donated $1,776 to several conservative candidates - mostly challengers against big-money incumbents - whom I believe will best fight for our conservative principles; however, I know these donations alone aren't enough.
The success of the conservative movement depends on building a strong national grassroots organization that can mobilize at a moment's notice , and that's why I founded the Conservative Action Fund.
At the Conservative Action Fund, we're building an organization capable of helping elect candidates who are committed to fighting for the principles of limited government, personal freedom, and fiscal responsibility.
Our organization has a two-pronged approach. We work to defeat liberal Democrats in Democrat-held districts and to elect ONLY conservative Republicans in Republican-held districts.
This year, our goal is simple- to retake the U.S. Senate and ensure we have the most conservative senators possible in both the House and Senate. That's why I supported Paul Broun and Chris McDaniel and other challengers to big-name RINO's in the House and Senate, to help their grassroots efforts.

Of course, standing for freedom and challenging the federal bureaucracy made me a target for the liberal elites in Washington. Most recently, Senator Al Franken personally attacked me for my principled stand against the FEC. That's nothing new - Harry Reid and Barack Obama have attacked me for daring to defend freedom - and that's the price we pay to secure our liberty.
