Remember that time a GOP official claimed the gender pay gap exists because "men are better negotiators"?
Or when a Republican candidate for Senate dismissed his female colleague's perspective as "born out of emotions"?
How about when FOX News held panel discussions about the ramifications of Hobby Lobby but somehow forgot to include any women?
And the latest? In his new book, Todd Akin, famous for his "legitimate rape" comment, mentions that he actually regrets airing an ad apologizing for his remarks.
"By asking the public at large for forgiveness, I was validating the willful misinterpretation of what I had said."
Seriously — I can't make this stuff up.
Despite all their claims to the contrary, Republicans still have a problematic (at best!) attitude toward women and women voters — will you help hold them accountable?
Yes, I'll join the Summer School team and help teach Republicans a thing or two about women.
I promise that being part of this team will be super easy.
(It's not too difficult, after all, to point out how wrong these guys are most of the time.)
When something outrageous happens, we'll send you everything you need to act — a petition you can sign or a graphic you can share with your friends and family on Facebook or Twitter.
What do you say? Add your name to join the Summer School team and help hold Republicans accountable this summer.
Thanks for joining!
