EMILY'S 2014 AGENDA

Lucas,

2014 is here and Election Day is just 10 months out. Are you ready to defeat anti-woman Republicans and replace them with pro-choice Democratic women?

We are too! Take a look at our 2014 agenda. And then take a moment to share it far and wide to help rally support for our Democratic women candidates!

1. Take Back the House

Sick and tired of the GOP's "do-nothing" agenda? We are, too. 2014 is our chance to put some order back in the House. That's why we're in to help Amanda Renteria, Staci Appel, Ann Callis, and the rest of our fantastic House candidates oust the GOP and get things done in Washington... and it all starts by helping Alex Sink take back Florida's 13th Congressional District this March.

2. Turn Red States Blue

We're on the brink of seeing long time red states finally turn blue. Wendy Davis in Texas, Alison Lundergan Grimes in Kentucky, and Michelle Nunn in Georgia are running to protect women and families and EMILY's List is with them every step of the way.

3. First Woman Governors

2014 gives us the chance to see Allyson Schwartz in Pennsylvania, Mary Burke in Wisconsin, and Gina Raimondo in Rhode Island become the first Democratic women governors in their states. There are a lot of glass-ceilings left to be shattered in our country -- and every crack gets us one step closer to 2016.

4. Rising Stars

We've been crisscrossing the country, recruiting and training Democratic women to run for office. Get to know Leticia Van de Putte, Nina Turner, and Lucy Flores -- all of whom you'll see on the ballot for statewide offices in 2014. We have no doubt these women are the next generation of leaders from EMILY's List and the Democratic Party.

5. Stop the GOP's War on Women

Since 2011, we've seen more abortion restrictions passed in states than we saw in the entire 2000s – and it could potentially get much worse. We need pro-choice Democratic women at every level of government to put an end to this War on Women once and for all.

6. Madam President

EMILY's List is ready -- let's do everything we can to see a woman at the top of the ticket in 2016. Together, we can break America's highest glass ceiling, and make Madam President a reality.

Excited yet? Be sure to share our 2014 agenda with all your #PCDW friends and rally to help our EMILY's List women win.

Now let's get to work!
