"Congratulations to Councilmember Robert Cornegy Jr. for being named Chair of the City Council's Small Business Committee. Councilman Cornegy is a proud Brooklynite with a lot of experience as a neighborhood advocate. He understands the needs of local communities and with that the necessity to grow small businesses and create vibrant shopping corridors that will benefit the local economy and create jobs. I have already had conversations with Councilman Cornegy about growing businesses and he was gracious to speak to our members recently during an event the Brooklyn Chamber hosted for new Councilmembers.
