Lucas,
Did you see the President deliver the State of the Union address?
I can only imagine how it showed on television, but sitting in the audience, I was pleased to hear the President outline a path to move our country forward.
Growing our middle class through initiatives like comprehensive immigration reform and on-the-job training; strengthening the Voting Rights Act; doing right by our soldiers returning from war; ensuring equal pay for equal work; extending unemployment insurance; tackling climate change; and so on.
I'll be fighting to move these items forward in 2014. If you're standing with me, then please add your name:

The President laid out some important proposals that we should get to work on right away. But let's be realistic. Moving this agenda forward will be incredibly difficult. But, as the President quoted Sergeant Remsburg last night, "Nothing in life that's worth anything is easy."
We can make progress. We can get things done in Washington. But we need YOU.
Lucas, will you fight with me? Will you stand with me in 2014? Then please add your name:
