I'm not going to sugarcoat things – this bellwether race is a must-win. Alex's victory will show the pundits – and the GOP – that Democrats are a force to be reckoned with in this midterm election. And it'll turn this seat as blue as a Sunshine State sky for the first time in 30 years.
Of course, this makes the race just as critical to the Republicans – the NRCC already has ads up attacking Alex, and the Kochs are expected to follow with millions in their trademark smears.
