We've got a good update for you: Because of the pressure you helped us put on General Motors, their new CEO Mary Barra will receive fair pay to match her male colleagues. This is another example of what we can accomplish together when we put our voices into action.
Even though this is an important step forward, let's face the facts: Mary's victory doesn't change anything for the millions of women nationwide who are still only making $.77 on every dollar compared to their male counterparts. It's way past time that women get equal pay for equal work. That's why I am proud to stand with Louise as she continues the fight for women.
