Stonewall Democratic Club of NYC, Gay and Lesbian Independent Democrats, and the Jim Owles Club (list in formation) invite you to join us in celebrating the inauguration of the six openly LGBT members of the New York City Council - Rosie Mendez, Jimmy Van Bramer, Danny Dromm, Corey Johnson, Ritchie Torres and Carlos Menchaca. The program will include an opening performance by New York City Gay Men's Chorus!
Doors open at 6:00PM and the program begins promptly at 6:30PM. The ceremony, which is free to the public, will be held at the Newman Vertical Campus, 14th Floor, 55 Lexington Avenue in Manhattan.
2014 promises to be an exciting year in NYC politics and we all look forward to continuing to work closely with all of the Members of the City Council to ensure that the priorities of the LGBT community are addressed in 2014 and beyond.
