SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

Lucas,

The latest report from the Department of Defense shows that 8 out of 10 victims of sexual assault within our Armed Forces are too afraid to report the abhorrent crime up through the chain of command.

This is unacceptable.

We must do more to protect the women and men who put their lives on the line for our freedom. I need your help calling on Congress to pass the bipartisan Military Justice Improvement Act .

Lucas, raise your voice with me and my colleagues to call on Congress to protect our service members. Sign our petition here >>>

The current system is badly broken. Shockingly, in 2012 alone, as many as 26,000 instances of rape, sexual assault, and unwanted sexual contact have occurred in the military. Our women and men in uniform should never be afraid to report these crimes. We must pass bipartisan reform so that survivors of sexual assault can speak out without fear of repercussions.

Click here to add your name and join me in urging Congress to immediately pass the Military Justice Improvement Act >>>

Thank you,

Elizabeth
