Alicia
16-year-old Alicia can become fully animated when making her favorite pieces of jewelry in arts and crafts class. Her case worker says, “When Alicia is completely focused on a task, the end results are exemplary.”
A few of her other favorite activities include playing basketball, football, and tennis. This dynamic teen enjoys being challenged in the classroom, especially in science class. Alicia is very diligent and worked at a job this past summer. She is also a budding entrepreneur who has a passion for designing and making jewelry that she models for her friends. She hopes to make and sell custom-made pieces in the future.
Alicia’s capacity to love, in spite of adversity, is absolutely remarkable and reflects her resilient spirit. With time, dedication and love, Alicia’s future will be boundless. She will make a wonderful addition to any family who will nurture Alicia and bring out her strengths.
