Volunteer with Natural Areas Volunteers (NAV) at Calvert Vaux Park to protect the wetlands of the Park from marauding geese. Volunteers will install protective goose fencing within a salt marsh. This work will help protect and maintain this important Gravesend Bay wetland habitat. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothes that can get dirty. Please meet your NAV Technical Lead at Shore Parkway at Exit 6 and Bay 49th Street. This project is appropriate for adults and youth groups that are High School age and above. Space is limited. Registration is required for this event.
