In the 2015 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) rumored provisions include designation of 250,000 additional acres of wilderness to the federal government. Potential land-grab provisions in the NDAA include:

Wilderness Area Expansion.
Four new national parks, and seven national park studies, which will be new parks.
National Heritage Areas Extension.
Wild and Scenic Rivers Extension.
Women’s History Museum.

Four federal agencies control 623 million acres of land in the U.S. - more than 27% of all surface land in the country. These figures don't include state-owned land which totals an additional 196 million acres. The feds already own 640 million acres of land, approaching one-third the total area of the United States!

These provisions would lead to more government ownership of America’s land and more restrictive land-use policies that prohibit energy development and economic activity. Click here to read more.
