
To reduce mosquito activity and the risk of West Nile virus, the Health
Department will spray pesticide from trucks in parts of Queens and Brooklyn.
The Queens spraying will take place on
Tuesday, August 19, 2014 between the hours of 8:15 p.m. and 6 a.m. the
following morning, weather permitting. In case of bad weather, the application will be delayed
until Wednesday, August 20 during the same hours. The Brooklyn spraying
will take place on
Thursday, August 21
between the hours of 8:15 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning, weather permitting. In case of bad weather, the application will be delayed
until Wednesday, August 22 during the same hours.
