Labor and employment law encompasses a wide variety of issues such as pension plans, benefits, retirement, worker’s compensation and discrimination in the workplace. The practice of labor and employment can vary from advising businesses on how to reduce their risk of employment litigation to how to comply with state and local laws to helping protect workers when their rights are being violated. At this program, panelists will discuss what practicing labor and employment law involves, the differing career paths available, and the areas of growing opportunities.
The first hour will be a panel presentation followed by small group discussions led by our panel members and other labor & employment law practitioners giving you the unique opportunity to ask questions and gain significant insight into this exciting practice area.
