Dear Neighbor,
A month ago, we came together and spoke with one voice, and we let everyone know that we as a community were not willing to be anyone’s dumping ground.
The movement that we began together is still strong, and we must remain united in the face of those who would use our
neighborhoods for undesirable projects just to line their pockets with more money.
This isn’t just about garbage from the Hamptons anymore, this is about all the undesirable projects that people think they can put in Brentwood, because they think we’re an easy target, or the path of least resistance. Let’s show them that we will fight for our neighborhoods and for our homes. Let’s keep the movement going and put an end to this cycle of abuse!
Join me and New York Communities for Change tomorrow, Friday August 29th, at the corner of Eisenhower Ave and Suffolk Ave at 11:00am. We will show the media and the rest of NY that we stand together and refuse to be trampled by greed!

Con firmeza y unidad debemos continuar y evitar que Brentwood sea usado como destino final de proyectos indeseables que solo benefician los intereses inescrupulosos y económicos de otros.
Esto no solo se trata de la basura de los Hampton. Esto es un asunto en que personas sin escrúpulos consideran que Brentwood puede ser el destino final para toda clases de desechos y proyectos indeseables que no son permitidos en otras comunidades pero si en la nuestra.
Demostremos que nosotros estamos unidos dispuestos a dar la pelea para que esto no suceda, hagamos respectar nustro vecindario, y continuemos firmes en nustro propósito de impedir que Brentwood sea considerado el vertidero de basuras de otros condados o pueblos.
Únete a Nosotros viernes 29 de agosto, 10:00 am Esquina de Eisenhower y Suffolk Ave., Brentwood. Declarar la oposición a toda acción temporal o permanente de vertedero de basuras en Brentwood. Hacer un llamada a las autoridades municipales para frenar la histórica acción permisiva de vertimiento de todo tipo de desechos, materiales indeseados, tóxicos y basuras en nuestra comunidad.
