I’m worried, Lucas.
John Boehner, the enabler of the Tea Party, just wrote a big fat check
for John’s opponent.
Now, I don’t want to see Massachusetts become a Republican fantasy
land any more than you do. But it seems like every time I read the news another conservative group
is buying up airtime against John.
We can’t let the other side win.
So I’m asking a quick favor for John -- a friend, and a tireless
fighter for Massachusetts families:
Will you send John a few dollars today to help his campaign? I know he
could really use it.
For years, John and I fought side by side for gay, lesbian, bisexual and
transgender rights, women’s rights, and to rein in our good friends
on Wall Street.
I keep telling John how great retirement is, but he refuses to quit fighting
for our progressive agenda.
That’s why Boehner’s had it up to here with John. He’d
like nothing more than to replace him with a rubber stamp Republican.
