HELP THEIR WOMEN

Hey Lucas,

I wanted to make sure you knew about a few U.S. House races that are prime opportunities for us to add more women to Congress in November. With the GOP's anti-choice chorus growing louder by the day, it's critical that we do everything we can to win open seats. And winning open seats starts with winning primaries.

Help our women pick up open-seat primaries! Donate directly to Alma Adams, Emily Cain, or Eloise Gomez Reyes and help propel our pro-choice Democratic women to victory.

You know it and I know it -- EMILY's List knows how to get pro-choice women elected. And we know that many of the women serving in the U.S. House of Representatives today are there because they were able to win tough primaries first. That's why we've been standing with Alma in North Carolina, Emily in Maine, and Eloise in California since the beginning.

Why Alma? It's simple. Alma has been advocating for women and families in North Carolina for almost 30 years. She was the first African American ever elected to the Greensboro Country School board and now serving in the state legislature, she is known for promoting quality education for all students. She's facing a crowded primary and is counting on support from the EMILY's List community!

Donate directly to Alma's campaign right now. Help her win her primary!

Why Emily? This is a no-brainer. Emily has earned a reputation as a strong advocate for women's health. As a state Senator, she stood strong against budget cuts to family services, and voted against numerous restrictions on women's health. Maine has only elected one Democratic woman to the U.S. House -- if Emily wins her primary, she could double that number!

Donate directly to Emily's campaign and help propel her to victory!

Why Eloise? Easy. Eloise is running for one of the most winnable seats currently held by a Republican and is a passionate advocate for her community's underserved families -- she started out working in California's onion fields at age 12, helped found the Inland Empire Community Health Center and has spent her career fighting for San Bernardino Valley's families and small businesses. But Eloise is facing a primary in which the top two vote-getters, regardless of party, advance to the general. In a race for an open seat being vacated by an eight-term Republican, she needs the EMILY's List community by her side.

Donate directly to Eloise's campaign and help her come out ahead!

Thanks for helping out,
