Petitioning is now over and we've accomplished our goal: we collected 20,666 signatures to get Charlie Rangel on the ballot. That's more than 16 times the minimum. Those 20,666 people are a testament to the clear popular, grassroots support for Congressman Rangel.
But while we've overcome one hurdle in the campaign, we now have to our next task: persuading voters. Our volunteers are out across the district, engaging voters about what Charlie Rangel has done for us.

He sponsored the Affordable Care Act which has allowed millions of Americans to afford healthcare. He passed laws to make housing in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx more affordable. He's working to improve our schools and he's still fighting to increase the minimum wage and create good jobs.
But we're going to need your help to make sure voters know about Charlie Rangel's record of results.
It's a record that has earned him endorsements from a litany of leaders and organizations including, just this week, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senator Chuck Schumer, and the New York State Association of Letter Carriers. They agree that we need Charlie Rangel in Congress.
