On Tuesday, I get to do something I've never done before.
I get to vote for the first time.
And it's an added bonus that the first time I cast a ballot it will be for a person I believe in so much -- my dad.
I've been looking forward to this day since I can remember, and I don't want anything unexpected to keep me from getting to the polls. So, I triple-checked where to go, and made a game plan for when and how I'll get there.
Have you made your plan to vote yet? Check out mine and then make sure you have one, too:
WHEN? First thing in the morning.
WHERE? Public Library near my house. (Looked that up on
nyc.pollsitelocator.com!)
HOW? Walk. (It's just a few blocks from home.)
WHY? Because my dad is the only one who will be a mayor for all New Yorkers,
no matter what they look like or where they live.
This election will be close and every vote will matter. Take a minute to remember just how much is at stake on Tuesday, and then join me in making a plan to vote:

Thanks for making your plan -- and checking it twice,
Chiara
PS: Voting is critical, and so is helping get others to the polls on Election Day. Get involved in your area this weekend:
