Dear clients, colleagues, and friends,
We write with great sadness to inform you of the passing of Alan Epstein on September 4, 2013.
Alan was a tremendous lawyer, a faithful friend, a wise advisor, a pragmatic problem solver, and a truly one of a kind character. He was a passionate advocate for affordable and supportive housing and due to his efforts many thousands of low-income and disabled New Yorkers will sleep tonight in clean and safe apartments rather than in the streets. Thank you all so very much for your concern, support and well-wishes throughout Alan's illness.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 8th at 10:30am at Trinity School, 101 West 91st Street, New York.
