Hey Lucas --
I just made my commitment to vote for Bill de Blasio on Tuesday, September 10th.
Under Mayor Bloomberg, we've been living a Tale of Two Cities. A few people do very well, while millions of struggling New Yorkers are left behind.
In a few days, we have a chance to do something about it -- we can vote for Bill de Blasio and elect a mayor who'll fight for all New Yorkers, no matter where you live or what you look like.
A vote for Bill de Blasio is a vote to put the needs of average New Yorkers ahead of the profits of big corporations; a vote to ask the wealthy to do a little more to make early education possible for every child and create after-school programs that keep our kids safe; and it's a vote to make housing more affordable and keep hospitals open for care.
A vote for Bill de Blasio is a vote for change.
For the Communication Workers of America, this is a critical election. We've been in the fight of our lives standing up to massive corporate powers. And through it all, Bill has stood by our side in the trenches and marched with us on the picket lines for justice.
Bill's always been a fighter for us. Now, it's time to fight for him:
