The clock is dialing down yet again towards Runoff Day, October 1st. We thank you for your tireless energy to ensure Letitia James becomes our next Public Advocate—the first woman of color ever elected to citywide office.
The job is not yet done, so here is what you can do to help.
1. Write a Dear Neighbor letter to your friends, family, networks, and neighbors urging them to vote for Letitia James on Oct. 1st. Email Gina Bull for the template and further instructions.
2. Get out the word about this run-off over social media! Follow @TishJames on Twitter and Letitia James on Facebook. Take some time to retweet or "share" our campaign countdown daily.
3. Get out in the streets and talk to voters! We have visibility events all weekend. Please email Gina to learn what’s going on.
4. Help on Runoff Day- October 1st. Clear some time and let Gina know you can help with flyering, phonebanking, driving, or poll watching. We need as many volunteers as possible ready to make sure people come out for this little-known election.
