I thought you would like to know about a forum my Democratic Club is sponsoring about the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare),which is coming up on September 26.
It seems just about everybody has questions what's going to happen on October 1 (when the Health Benefit Exchange is open for business) and on January 1 (when the Affordable Care Act goes is fully in effect). That's why we decided to organize the forum. In addition to discussing the provisions of the Affordable Care Act, our speakers will also talk about other health care resources available to us here in New York, as well as the prospects for a universal Single Payer New York health care legislation.
