THEY'RE WATCHING!

Lucas --

Just days ago, we launched our petition calling on Members of Congress who are voting keep the government shuttered to give up their salaries during the shut down. Two days later, two Congressmen from North Carolina have announced they will not accept pay. Together, we are already making a difference.

Yesterday, the media picked up the drum beat. A Raleigh television station asked Republican Renee Ellmers if she would freeze her pay. She has voted for this shutdown and her husband is a doctor. But Ellmers said: "The thing of it is, is I, I need my paycheck. That is the bottom line."

Really?

What about 800,000 federal employees, Rep. Ellmers? Do they NOT need their paychecks?

What about the 7,000 civilians at Fort Bragg in your district who have been furloughed? Do they NOT need their paychecks?

Help us keep the momentum going. Join the more the 10,000 North Carolinians who have already signed the petition.

We'll deliver the petitions to each Member who is holding our country hostage. They need to hear from you.

Sign the petition and share it with your friends. Rep. Ellmers and all of Congress need to know that we're watching.

Thanks for your support.
