LIKING KATHERINE CLARK

Lucas,

As we are seeing this week, getting more Democratic women elected to the House is key.

Right now, in Massachusetts, we have an unbelievable chance to do just that -- and less than two weeks left to do it. Progressive state Senator Katherine Clark is running in a special election to fill an open House seat and her critical, all-or-nothing primary is just days away.

In 2007, we broke through the all-men Bay State delegation with Rep. Niki Tsongas. In 2012, we shattered another barrier by helping Elizabeth Warren become the state's first woman senator. On October 15th, let's help Katherine Clark get one step closer to Congress by putting her over the top in this crowded primary.

Special elections like this don't come along often -- but they are the best possible way to add women to Congress. Donate directly to Katherine Clark's campaign to help her win.

As a mother of three boys, Katherine understands how important it is for women and families to have a voice in government. Since 2008, when she first was elected to the Massachusetts legislature, she has been that voice -- advocating for early childhood education and domestic violence legislation, and protecting women's health care access and reproductive rights across the state.

I have no doubt that Katherine will continue this momentum in Congress -- but we need to be by her side every step of the way to ensure another pro-choice Democratic woman has a voice in Washington.

Make a contribution to Katherine Clark's campaign now to send another woman from Massachusetts to Congress.

In just six years, Massachusetts can go from having no women serving in Washington to having women comprise nearly a third of its delegation. Let's keep up the momentum, folks.

Thank you,

Jonathan Parker
