Due to a lapse in funding, the U.S. federal government has shut down.
During the shutdown, Kids.gov will not be updated, but the website will be available. You can also get answers to government questions by calling 1-800-FED- INFO (1-800-333-4636).
The federal government will remain shut down until Congress and the President pass a funding bill.
