There's so much uncertainty right now, about really important things.
- Will radical Republicans in Congress let the government get back to work?
- Will Tea Party fanatics force the United States to default, risking another financial meltdown, if we don't let them dismantle Medicare and Social Security?
- Will Wall Street succeed in undermining even the modest restrictions put in place after its greed nearly destroyed the global economy just five short years ago?
- Will the Supreme Court issue another ruling that further mocks the principles of democracy and hands still more control over our elections to billionaires and Big Business?
Here's one thing I know with absolute certainty:
Public Citizen will never stop fighting the insane idea that profits matter more than people. (And if you really think about it, "insane" is the right word, isn't it?)
When I say Public Citizen, I mean you and 300,000 members and supporters like you from coast to coast.
