We did it!

With your help, we forced Rep. Howard Coble to give up his pay for the duration of the government shutdown. We sent "Cardboard Coble" to deliver almost 20,000 petitions and sent him to places affected by the shutdown. We helped show him the negative impact that his actions are having on regular families in North Carolina.

That makes five Members of Congress who have given up their pay since we began shining the light. We're proud of your support. Together, we are making a difference.

Now, we need to get Rep. Walter Jones (NC-03) to surrender his pay because Congress should feel at least some of the pain they are inflicting on the rest of the nation. We are in Walter Jones' district today with "Cardboard Jones" delivering petitions at 3 P.M. and visiting people and places hurt by the shutdown.
