I know the news lately has been devoted to the Tea Party temper tantrum that shut down the government. But the out-of-touch special interests have been open for business all month.
The Koch brothers’ shadowy outside group Americans for Prosperity launched a new smear campaign on October 1st. Another group, Heritage Action, announced online ads attacking Kay in North Carolina. And the NRSC just released their plan of attack against us.
Washington may have been at a standstill for a while, but the out-of-touch interest groups are hard at work against Kay. And that means we can’t afford to stop working either.
