PEOPLE NEED TO GET BY

Lucas,

In 1968, a family of four was able to stay above the poverty line on minimum wage. They weren’t thriving, but they had enough to get by and plan for a better future.

Millions of American families live in or on the edge of poverty today because our minimum wage has failed to keep pace with inflation over the past 45 years.

Add your name to our petition now, and help us tell Republicans in Congress that we need a fair minimum wage.

We can’t continue to allow Americans to put in a hard day’s work for a poverty wage. The Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2013 aims to fix this by boosting the minimum wage to $10.10, but we need your help to build support.

Join me today in calling on my Republican colleagues to support a fair minimum wage.

Thank you,

Nita
