Millions of Americans work hard at their minimum wage job everyday but are barely clearing the poverty line. This is wrong. Every person living in our country who holds down a 40 hour a week job should be able to make a living wage.

Americans all across the country are struggling because there hasn’t been an increase to the minimum wage in years. Raising the wage to over $10 an hour would help families stay above the poverty line and continue to add stability to our recovering economy. It’s time for Congress to increase the minimum wage. It’s the right thing for our country.
