Big news at EMILY's List: our own Amy Dacey, our executive director, has stepped up to be the CEO of the Democratic National Committee.
When I became president of EMILY's List in 2010, there was only one person I could think of to partner with me and that was Amy. Amy is a woman who gets results while motivating and empowering others around her. She isn't just a great unsung political operative of our time, she is a loyal friend and a passionate fighter for our Democratic values. She has done more for EMILY's List in the past three years than I could have hoped.
Everyone here is so excited for Amy. We wanted to show our appreciation and send her off right. So we've teamed up with the Democratic National Committee to create this card, thanking Amy for all that she's done and all she will do, and congratulating her on this amazing opportunity.
