Domenic is a candidate for Congress in New York's 11th District, encompassing Staten Island and South Brooklyn. He has served on the New York City Council since 2002, as Chair of the powerful Finance Committee and Cultural Affairs Committee. As Finance Chair, he has passed three on-time, balanced, and fiscally responsible budgets without raising taxes. In 2009, he was instrumental in creating year-round jobs during the rezoning and revitalization of Coney Island.
