Convicted of “disorderly conduct,” for yelling at a group of nuns during a Sunday church service, Rosemarie Poverelli appealed to an unforgiving appellate court.
Although she claimed to have been “emotionally upset” at the time of her encounter, the Appellate Term, First Department, didn’t think Rosemarie's mental state or “moral convictions” allowed her to behave in a “disruptive” manner.
In other words, the AT1 was having nun of that.
