NO TURNING THIS AROUND?

While Jeffrey Campbell was in the midst of making an illegal U-turn, his car was hit by James Roth's vehicle.

When Campbell's passenger later filed a negligence suit, Roth asked for the case's dismissal but both the New York County Supreme Court and the Appellate Division, First Department, thought there were unresolved issues which warranted a trial. (Apparently, there were allegations that Roth had been speeding prior to the collision and had somehow been negligent "in failing to observe what should have been observed.")

Bet he didn't see that coming.
