The place has a clean, homey feel. It's like hanging out in a friend's loft ....
...which just happens to have a pizza oven.
Ordered a half plain and a half with portobello, red peppers and shallots.
It was a bit pricey (at $28.50) and it also looks like I got a 1/3, rather than the half, of the latter ingredients ... but who's complaining?
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Try the (chocolate covered) dessert calzone ... Decadent.
Lucali's kitchen is open and inviting. (There's a view from almost every seat in the house.)
It's certainly worth a visit if you're in the South Beach area.
