LIU ON YAHOO'S PARENTAL LEAVE POLICY
NEW YORK, N.Y. – City Comptroller John C. Liu stated the following about Yahoo's extension of its parental leave policy:
"As shareowners, we welcome Yahoo's decision to extend its parental leave and benefits policies. It is a model for private industry, and an important step that will help the company retain its best and brightest workers. More companies should adopt such enlightened policies."
