At EMILY's List, we loved it so much that today we're launching our very own campaign to put a woman in the White House in 2016: Madam President.
Americans are ready to elect a woman to the White House. Our polling shows that 90% of Americans would consider voting for a woman president, 86% say the country is ready to elect a woman president, and 75% believe that a woman president would be a good thing for this country.
