FREE ACCESSORIES FOR YOUR CYCLISTS!

An Interactive Forum on Commercial Cycling Safety For Local Businesses

On May 14th at 3pm join me and the Department of Transportation at Sunnyside Community Services for an interactive workshop for businesses to learn how to comply with the new Commercial Cycling Safety laws. As of April 23rd, my Commercial Cycling Safety Legislation took effect in the City of New York.

This piece of legislation seeks to increase the safety of commercial cyclists throughout the City by having them wear a retro-reflective jacket, vest, or other apparel while riding on behalf of a business. The law is part of my efforts to make New York City's streets safer for all pedestrians, vehicles and cyclists who share the roads. PARTICIPATING BUSINESSES WHO ATTEND WILL RECEIVE FREE ACCESSORIES FOR THEIR DELIVERY CYCLISTS WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. Please feel free to share this information with your favorite local business and help us raise awareness to make our streets safer for all.
