If I had to pick one word to describe Senators Kay Hagan from North Carolina and Jeanne Shaheen from New Hampshire, it'd be courageous.
Both Hagan and Shaheen voted to expand background checks to keep our children and families safe. And both have announced their support for marriage equality.
