Dear Friend,
Please join me today in thanking the men and women of our nation's armed services, and most importantly in honoring the memory of those who lost their lives fighting for our nation. We commend them for their bravery, we are humbled by their sacrifice, and we are proud to remember all those who fought to preserve the freedoms that we individually and collectively hold dear.
To our military families, we give thanks and support, particularly to those who have lost a loved one in combat. Our deepest condolences go out to them for their loss.
Please join me in honoring the memory of the men and women who dedicated their lives to fighting for the values and ideals on which our nation was founded.
