
This report covers the history and current socioeconomic state of the Puerto Rican diaspora in the Chicago Metro Area sixty years after immigration in order to provide the Puerto Rican Agenda with vital statistics and analysis that will assist its stakeholders, such as, government officials, community based agencies and other institutions serving the Puerto Rican community. In addition to demographics, it focuses on housing, economic development, education, health, women, youth and culture.
