HONORING COURAGE

On Thursday evening, June 20th, during our National Conference gala banquet, we will be honoring the courageous.

You will be moved, inspired and encouraged by each of these people. It will truly be a night to remember.

  • We will honor Cynthia Farahat, an Egyptian human rights activist. Suffering under the boot of sharia law, she endured hundreds of death threats, years of surveillance by the government, the abduction of her brother, the death of a friend, and the imprisonment of others close to her.

  • We will honor Scott and Vicki Behenna, the parents of Lt. Michael Behenna. We can’t honor Michael in person. Michael has been unjustly imprisoned because he killed an al Qaeda operative in self-defense while serving in Iraq.

  • We will honor ACT! for America chapter leaders and members who have taken courageous stands, stood up to public and media pressure, and stared down the face of Islamist threats.

As Brigitte Gabriel wrote in a recent email, we can choose to look at the many challenges facing America and throw our hands up in despair.

Or we can follow in the paths of those, both past and present, who have blazed a trail of courage for the rest of us.

Please join us at this year’s National Conference & Legislative Briefing as we pay tribute to those who refuse to surrender to discouragement, doubt and despair.

Be inspired. Be encouraged. Be a part of the solution. Because we are successfully pushing back against the threat of radical Islam!
