HER LIFE HAS BEEN ABOUT FIGHTING AND DELIVERING

Dear Lucas,

Last week at a Public Advocate forum on the Upper West Side, I had another opportunity to join engaged New Yorkers to share my personal story and show how it connects to their stories. I talked about my life of advocacy and laid out my vision for making the lives of New Yorkers better as Public Advocate.

From my work as Deputy Public Advocate creating the DREAM Fellowship which helps undocumented students go to college, to my work as the founder of Girls Who Code, providing teens the skills they need to get jobs for today, and tomorrow -- my whole life has been about fighting for opportunities for all of us and delivering.

I made two commitments at the forum: I will fight so that the American Dream is available for all of us, and I will not stop until the job is done.

If you believe in me, I'm asking you to join our grassroots movement and make a small contribution to our campaign at www.reshmafornewyork.com/donate.

We are ONE WEEK away from a critical fundraising deadline and we need you now.

Thank you,

Reshma
