Dear Friends,
Our campaign for Queens Borough President has been very exciting this past month. I have been attending numerous events throughout the borough in the last few weeks; a few of the events I attended are highlighted below.
On February 12th I attended a breakfast event jointly hosted by the Queens Chamber of Commerce and the Office of the Queens Borough President. It was a wonderful event that afforded me the opportunity to meet and hear the concerns of many of Queens' small business owners.
The following evening I addressed the members of the Wood-Heights Democratic Club and conveyed my vision for the Queens Borough President's Office.
I was also able to mix and have a good time with many of our neighbors at the 2013 Lunar New Year Parade.
I attended the 42nd Annual Scholarship Dinner Gala, hosted by the New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators, the Bangladeshi International Mother Language Day and had an opportunity to address the members of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Democratic club.

As you can see we have been busy. I look forward to continuing my visits of Queens' district neighborhoods and communities. I hope to speak with you again soon.
