About Our Speaker:
Mark Amodei was elected to the Nevada Assembly in 1996 and the Nevada State Senate in 1998. He was overwhelming reelected in 2002 and 2006 with over 80% of the vote. In 2010, Congressman Amodei respected the Nevada legislative term limits and left his position. In 2011, he was elected to Congress to fill former-Congressman Dean Heller’s position. Congressman Amodei now serves on the Committee of Natural Resources, Committee on Judicial Affairs and the Committee on Veteran’s Affairs.
