YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP

Lucas,

Republican radio host, Erick Erickson, suggested that women who are breadwinners challenge the very laws of nature.

That happened. Last week. Not in 1953, but this year, in 2013.

And that's only the most recent example of the GOP's complete failure to connect with women.

We've seen this happen repeatedly. You remember: Todd Akin's "legitimate rape;" Foster Friess' "aspirin between the knees" for birth control; Mitt Romney's "binders full of women."

You're shaking your head in disbelief, we know. While you're at it, share our #GOPHeartsLadies graphic with your friends to remind them about how abysmal the GOP's record on women is, too.

Help spread the word!

Remember that time when the House Republicans realized they needed at least one woman among their leadership ranks so they appointed one . . . to the housekeeping committee. And last year's infamous panel on birth control had no women present. You think they would have learned -- but nope, they did it again this year with a panel on a 20-week abortion ban. All men.

This is the real GOP, you guys.

Share our collection of best (worst!?) and most absurd examples of GOP women's outreach to remind your friends -- this actually happened.

We can't make this stuff up.
