New York City needs a good woman. Quite a few of them in fact. That's why we started the Women's Democratic Club of New York; to promote honest, progressive, independent Democratic women in New York's politics.
Yetta Kurland, candidate for City Council in the West Side's 3rd Council District, is such a woman. That is why I am proud to support her, and I hope you will too.
When her community was losing a 161- year old hospital to make way for a few more condos, Yetta stood up and fought back. A leading Civil Rights Attorney, Yetta has been at the forefront of every battle for women's and LGBT equality in the past 20 years.
