MCLAUGHLIN SHOWS OFF HIS AWARD

Last night, the NYCLU's Lower Hudson Valley Chapter honored Newman Ferrara LLP attorney and Pace Law School professor, Randolph M. McLaughlin, at its annual Myron Issacs Community Service Award Dinner.

McLaughlin was recognized for his dedication to furthering social justice within the New York metropolitan area. His most recent efforts include the Chamberlain v. City of White Plains case where 68-year-old Marine veteran Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. was shot and killed at his home by White Plains police officers.

The Myron Issacs Community Service Award is presented annually to local advocates who have dedicated their time to improving the rights of people within their community. The Award is named for the civil rights attorney, Myron Issacs, who founded Westchester Legal Services.

The Award Dinner was held at the Riverview in Hastings-on-Hudson.
