IT'S ABOUT WOMEN'S EQUALITY

email_header 2

Dear Friend,

Today, members of the Assembly cast their votes and passed the Women's Equality Act, designed to address gender inequality in our communities, and to restore New York as a leader in women's rights.

In the next 24 hours, the New York State Senate will either stand up for Women's Equality or they will not—plain and simple.

The Senate cannot hide behind procedural tricks or delays to protect themselves from taking a stand on tough issues.

New Yorkers deserve to know where their elected representatives stand on ending gender discrimination, ensuring pay equity, toughening human trafficking laws, and protecting a woman's right to choose.

Call your State Senator right now at 518-455-2800and demand they do their job and bring all ten points of the Women's Equality Act to the floor for a vote before the end of session.

The time to enact this legislation is now.

Sincerely,

The Andrew Cuomo Committee
